Fitting a bath properly means clearing the old one out cleanly, checking the floor and walls are in good shape, and making sure the new bath sits level and secure before a single pipe is connected. It's a job for homeowners replacing a worn-out tub, or for anyone part-way through a bigger bathroom project who needs the bath itself done right. Our approach starts with turning off the water and stripping out the old bath and any surrounding tiles or panels that need to go. The new bath gets assembled, its legs or supports fitted, and it's checked with a spirit level before it's fixed in place, whether that's with brackets, battens or adhesive depending on the bath. Waste, overflow and taps are connected and tested, and the whole thing is filled and checked for leaks before we call it done. > A bath that's level, watertight and properly sealed shouldn't be something you have to think about again for years. The finishing seal matters as much as anything underneath it. We take the time to get a clean, even bead of sealant where the bath meets the wall, and we'll always let you know how long it needs to cure before the bath gets used properly. A straightforward swap of an existing bath usually takes a day, though it can take longer if tiles, boards or plumbing need attention first. Do I need to replace the tiles or panels too? Not always, but if the old bath comes out and the surrounding surfaces are damaged or don't fit the new bath's dimensions, we'll flag that before starting. Can you fit any type of bath? Yes, from standard alcove baths to freestanding tubs, each with its own support and finishing approach depending on the design. Will there be any mess left behind? No, we clear away the old bath, packaging and any debris, and leave the bathroom clean once the job's finished. How soon can I use the bath after it's fitted? We'll let you know exactly how long the sealant needs to cure before the bath sees normal use, usually a day or so, to avoid disturbing the seal. Do you only do bath installation, or full bathrooms too? Full bathroom design and installation is our main focus, so a bath fit often comes as part of a wider refit, though we're happy to quote for a standalone swap too. Which areas do you cover?
