Kitchen Installation
Whether you're fitting a new kitchen or it's part of a wider renovation, we handle the plumbing and gas work that makes it function properly, safely connected and finished neatly, for homes across Brighton, Hove and the surrounding Sussex towns.
What we cover in a kitchen install
From first-fix pipework to the final gas connection, here's where our part of the job usually sits.
Kitchen plumbing first fix
Pipework, waste runs and supply lines put in place ready for sinks, dishwashers and washing machines.
Sink, tap and appliance fitting
Second-fix connection of sinks, taps, dishwashers and washing machines once the kitchen units are in.
Gas cooker and hob connections
Safe, Gas Safe registered domestic connection of gas cookers and hobs as part of your new kitchen.
Kitchen plumbing for renovations
First and second fix plumbing for kitchens that are part of a wider extension, loft conversion or new build.
The plumbing and gas work behind a great kitchen
A new kitchen isn't just cabinets and worktops, it's pipework, waste, taps and gas connections that all need to be right before anything looks finished. That's the part of the job we take on: getting sinks, dishwashers, washing machines, cookers and hobs connected properly, safely and without leaving a mess behind for you to deal with.
Most of the kitchen plumbing we do sits within one of two situations. Either you're having a new kitchen fitted and need the pipework and connections handled alongside your kitchen fitter, or it's part of a bigger renovation, an extension, loft conversion or new build, where the kitchen is just one room among several needing first and second fix plumbing.
A kitchen only feels finished once everything underneath it is done properly.
We don't fit cabinets, worktops or units ourselves. What we do is make sure the plumbing and gas side of the job is sorted before, during and after the fitting stage, whether that's moving a sink to a new position, running supply pipes to a new appliance run, or connecting a gas hob safely once everything is in place.

How it usually works
Most jobs start with a look at the layout, either from plans if it's part of a renovation, or on site if it's a straightforward kitchen refit. From there we plan out first fix work, the pipework and waste runs that need to go in before units go on the wall, then come back for second fix once the kitchen itself is fitted, connecting everything up and checking it all works properly.
Tidy, careful work matters more to most homeowners than anything else we do.
We protect floors and walkways while we work, keep disruption to a minimum, and clear up properly at the end of each visit, not just at the end of the job. If gas is involved, that connection is carried out and checked by a Gas Safe registered engineer, as required for any domestic gas work.
This kind of work comes up a lot for homeowners across Brighton, Hove, Woodingdean, Lewes, Seaford, Worthing, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill, whether it's a straightforward kitchen refit or part of a larger extension or loft conversion project. If you're planning a new kitchen and want the plumbing and gas side taken care of properly, get in touch and we'll talk through what your project needs.

“Ryan and his team are hands down the best in the business. They've completed a beautiful two bathroom project for us, plus our kitchen. And their attention to detail, problem solving, and high standards have meant the end products were all perfect. I can't recommend Ryan and his team enough and wouldn't use another plumber now for projects big or small.”
