A boiler that's cut out, lost pressure, or thrown up an error code isn't just inconvenient, it can leave a home cold and without hot water at the worst possible time. Boiler repair is about finding the actual cause of the problem, not just papering over the symptom, and making sure the fix holds. We work on domestic boilers for homeowners across Brighton, Hove and the wider Sussex area, and gas work is carried out by our Gas Safe registered engineers, under registration 568345.
Most visits start with diagnosis: checking pressure and temperature, reading any error codes, and inspecting the parts most likely to be causing trouble, such as the ignition system, pump, valves, heat exchanger, flue and condensate trap. Once we know what's actually wrong, we'll explain it in plain English before doing any work, then replace or repair the faulty part, clean what needs cleaning, and run the system to confirm heating and hot water are properly restored.
A repair isn't finished until we've tested it and you've got heat and hot water back.
Common causes we see include blocked condensate pipes, pressure drops, faulty controls and worn ignition components, and often the actual fix only becomes clear once we're in front of the boiler.
