Moving a boiler properly, not just unplugging and re-plugging it
A boiler relocation is rarely as simple as unbolting it and hanging it somewhere else. Gas, water, electrics and the flue all need rerouting to the new spot, and the new location has to actually work for safe venting and access. It's a common job for people converting a kitchen, freeing up an airing cupboard, or tidying up a loft or utility space, and it's one we're happy to take on as a standalone project.
We start with a proper look at the current setup and the proposed new position, because not every wall or cupboard is suitable without extra work. From there we isolate the gas and electrics, drain the system, disconnect the old boiler, and run the new pipework and flue to wherever it's going. Once it's reconnected we test everything for leaks, pressure and correct operation before we call the job done.
A boiler move should leave your home tidier, not more disrupted.
A lot of the questions we get are about mess and disruption, understandably, since draining a heating system and patching an old boiler location isn't a five-minute job. We plan the work to keep that disruption contained and leave the old spot and the new one properly finished, not just functional.

We are Gas Safe registered for domestic gas work under registration 568345, and an accredited Vaillant installer, so the gas side of the job is carried out to the required legal standard, and we can issue a CP12 gas safety certificate where one is needed.

Combi boiler relocated to the loft
We removed the existing boiler, cylinder and tanks and relocated the new Vaillant combination boiler to the loft, freeing up space in the new kitchen. New radiators were fitted throughout the house, along with a new gas main run from the meter direct to the boiler.
Open vent to combi conversion with boiler relocation
We converted this open-vented system to a combi, relocating the boiler and carrying out a full system flush. The new Vaillant boiler comes with a 10 year warranty and is controlled by an EPH Controls thermostat.
Vaillant boiler replacement and relocation
We replaced this boiler with a Vaillant ecofit pure and relocated it to a new position, protecting the system with a filter. The wiring was due to be completed the following day.
Vaillant boiler installation and relocation
A Vaillant ecoTEC plus boiler fitted and moved ready for a garage conversion. The system is controlled by a smart thermostat and protected by a Vaillant boiler protection kit, giving a 10 year warranty.
