System Boiler Installation
If your home relies on a hot water cylinder, a system boiler keeps everything running reliably, and we design, fit and commission the whole thing properly, leaving your home clean and your heating working as it should.

What's included with your installation
System boiler work covers more than fitting the unit itself, here's what we look after from start to finish.
Site Survey & Boiler Sizing
We assess your home's hot water demand and pipework before recommending the right system boiler for your needs.
Old Boiler Removal
Safe isolation and removal of your existing boiler, with the site left tidy throughout.
System Flushing & Filters
Flushing the heating system and fitting a magnetic filter helps protect your new boiler and improve efficiency.
Controls & Cylinder Setup
Fitting or connecting the hot water cylinder and setting up thermostats and controls so everything works together.
A boiler that works properly with your hot water cylinder
A system boiler is built to work alongside a sealed central heating system and a hot water cylinder, so it stores hot water ready to use rather than heating it on demand. That makes it a sensible choice for homes with more than one bathroom, or where hot water demand is higher than a combi boiler can comfortably handle. We fit and replace system boilers across Brighton, Hove, Woodingdean and the surrounding Sussex towns, working to Gas Safe standards on every job.
Our approach starts with a proper survey. We look at your existing pipework, flue location, cylinder and controls before recommending a boiler that actually suits your home, rather than whatever's easiest to fit. On installation day, we isolate the old system, remove the existing boiler if there is one, and fit the new unit along with the flue, pipework and controls. Most jobs include flushing the system and bleeding radiators, and we'll often fit a magnetic filter to help protect the new boiler from debris in the pipework.
A boiler that's sized and fitted properly causes far fewer problems down the line.
Once everything's connected, we pressure test, check for leaks, and run the system through its paces before we consider the job done. That means confirming the heating and hot water both work as they should and the safety systems are functioning correctly. We'll talk you through how to use your new controls, and make sure the site is left clean and tidy, no half-finished corners or mess left behind.
More information
Some jobs are more straightforward than others. If your pipework, flue or cylinder need altering to fit the new boiler, or if the existing system hasn't been flushed in years, the job will take a little longer, and we'll flag that during the survey rather than after we've started. Access and available space around the airing cupboard or wherever the cylinder sits can also affect how the work is planned.
Getting the details right at survey stage saves surprises on installation day.
We are Gas Safe registered for domestic gas work, registration 568345, and an accredited Vaillant installer, and we cover the full range of domestic gas and heating work, not just boilers. Whether you're in Woodingdean, Brighton, Hove, Lewes, Seaford, Worthing, Haywards Heath or Burgess Hill, we bring the same careful approach, a proper survey, honest advice on whether a system boiler is right for your home, and finished work you don't have to worry about. If you're weighing up a system boiler against other options, or just want a straightforward opinion, get in touch and we'll talk it through.
